Make-over

Well the day of the make-over has come and gone. It was a wonderful afternoon and evening with many thanks to Victoria for her hard work, understanding and enthusiasm. I would recommend her to all who live in Perth. See my web-site for details. The make-up itself took 1 1/2hrs followed by lots of photos and outfit changes. Time flew by and before I knew it the time had come to go to the Chameleons AGM. I will put a few selected pics up for your perusal. I managed to get some new underwear from "Secrets in lace" in time for the shoot, but a jacket I ordered was too small. Anyway, enjoy the photo's.

Another Chameleons meeting

Hi girls, another 2 weeks has passed and another Cham's meeting. Good to see more new people and a couple of "fringe dwellers" from the past! I made the most of my shaved legs by wearing a pair of beige stockings with black seams, heels and feet. I think they looked great and they received some nice compliments too. I have arranged the make-over and photo session for the day of the Cham's AGM. I didn't want to waste the opportunity! Victoria from Movingmakeup.com is excited and I have ordered some new retro under-wear from Secrets in lace for the day. Photos and report will follow!

Last Chameleons meeting

It was good to catch up with some of the girls on Wednesday night. Two new girls also attended and it was good to hear their stories and help with some advice. I hope to see them again soon. I am looking at some new ways to help those just "emerging" to help the process easier. Perhaps help with some personal shopping? Hope to have more on the make-over soon. I wait with bated breath!

Professional make-up

I'm looking at taking the plunge and using a professional make-up artist and have some photographs taken. I've seen the results from Charlotte's session and was very impressed. She'll need to be good to make this old bird look any good! It may be worth trying to get it done on the same day as the Chameleons AGM and make a day of it! I'll keep you all posted on the experience and post some pics of the results. Stay tuned!

Winter - Don't you just love it?!

I love winter! I find it easier to hide behind the thicker clothing and truly love the coats, boots, knitwear, scarves and opaque tights. That said, I usually get a window of opportunity to shave my legs - hide them under long pants in male mode and then wear hosiery to show them off in girl mode! Out come the seamed stockings for those special occasions. I hope there are some events this winter to glam up. Don't you find that a night out with lots of time to get ready (half a day is about right) is just the best? Why don't you let me know what you like about winter and that special night out?

Home again!

Well that 3 weeks went so quickly! Had a wonderful 4 nights in San Francisco. Some of the highlights were; Golden gate bridge bike ride, Fisherman's Wharf, Alcatraz island, Wicked - stage show and shopping! Back to earth now and back to work!

Ventura, California

Hollywood has been done and on to Ventura, just North of Los Angeles. A small coastal town with some history. Close to outlet shopping!! This was followed by 2 days of driving up the coast seeing the amazing scenery and quaint inns. Hearst Castle was a little different though! Last stop on the journey - San Francisco.

Here in California!

Well girls ,we are here in LA and its been a whirlwind so far. Disneyland, Disneyland's California Adventure, Universal Studios and even the Premiere of "The A Team" in Hollywood! Legs are just about to fall off with all the walking. Doing the Hollywood stars and a walking tour around Hollywood today. Looking forward to a few quieter days! Will post again soon.

Chameleons meeting tonight!

Hi girls, hope to see some of you at tonight's meeting. Trying to get organised for the trip away, but lots still to do! Might be cold and wet tonight so its winter clothing. Probably skirt, opaque tights and a jacket. Love the cold weather!

Secrets in Lace - Affiliate

Hi girls (and boys), I have now become an affiliate of the "Secrets in Lace" store. They supply beautiful retro lingerie, clothing and hosiery. As you may know, I'm a big fan of retro clothing and lingerie. I hope some of you are too. Maybe some pictures in the near future? Off to the U.S. Saturday, can't wait! Off to the USA

Am heading off to the U.S. soon on holiday and am looking forward to meeting one of my suppliers in person for the first time! I have been wearing her cross-dressing products for nearly 15 years! It is a great time to go as the high Aussie dollar means more money for clothes! My girl friends tell me that clothing is way cheaper there anyway, so bring it on! I will check out the cross-dressing items available with the guidance of my friend there and look forward to filling you in on anything I discover. Girls get together last week

Last Wednesday night the Chameleons transgender support group gathered for the usual bi-monthly meeting - themed for ANZAC day. Some "two-up" and penny push gambling was enjoyed by all with 2 new girls gathering the prizes! It's always good to see new girls getting out after years in the closet. I do like the cooler weather, I love the winter clothing!

Welcome

Hi! I thought it was high time I started a blog to let you into my life, experiences and hopefully, give you a chance to compare mistakes and successes. It may help you avoid some of those mistakes that are common to many of us in the Transgender world. As a cross-dresser for over 40 years (OMG is it really that long) I have seen many things and tried many of them.
